My New BFF…

~ when I don’t have time to eat my veggies

I’ve had besties over the years but I gotta tell ya, my new BFF (Blended Foods Forever) is a keeper.  I really am trying to eat healthier.  Some days I am exceptionally successful and other days, well, I need that damn ice cream.  It’s an ongoing process.  One of which I am giving myself grace and wiggle room to go through.

I love vegetables.  And if I had my way, I’d eat them on a regular, if not daily basis. However… Life happens.  Busy prevails.  The unexpected occurs.  And sleep I must.  So during the times when my time is accounted for by other things, I call on my BFF and we make nutritional magic happen.

I’m talking about the omnipotent green smoothie.  Chlorophyll is the esteemed bad ass ingredient that makes it all worthwhile.  There are a plethora of recipes out there.  All you have to do is hop online and find one to your liking.  So, if you’re like me, the next time you decide to recommit to healthier eating habits, make it easy on yourself and reach out to your BFF.  Your body, mind, and spirit will thank you.  Namaste y’all…
