When things are going swell in our lives, most of us don’t feel a need to analyze or assess how we got to that point. You ride the wave of things being great. When that changes however, and you’re faced with challenges, it’s always good to go back to the beginning. There can be many elements to consider, including asking yourself what part you played in it. However, when you sift through it all, you will find the answers. In fact, you’ll discover exactly how you came to the point of where you are now.
I truly believe things don’t occur out of the blue. There are always signs. Just like a flower doesn’t grow overnight, a shift in circumstances doesn’t either. Never underestimate the power of observation. It involves more than being aware of your surroundings, which is very important. But it also includes demographics, economics, behavioral patterns, motives, life experiences, and politics, which aren’t always limited to those in public office. Politics are everywhere and it definitely pays off to familiarize yourself with all the players in any situation in your life whether that be work, school, where you live, where you socialize, etc.
When you take the time to do this, you’ll find it provides a solid blue print of why things are the way they are. And thus, you’ll be better prepared and not caught off guard. Namaste y’all…
